Alpine Campus - Sion

The town of Sion

The charming town of Sion is the capital of the canton of Valais and an old medieval stronghold. It is located at the heart of the Swiss Alps, with two splendid castles towering above it. It is a pleasant town to live in and has a rich history. It offers many cultural and open-air activities, such as excursions, golf and mountain biking, to mention but a few.

The campus

Lemania Alpine Campus is located not far from the station and from the centre of town, near many sporting facilities (swimming pool, sports ground, etc.). The main building houses the classrooms, a computer room, a conference area and the administrative offices. The pupils also have a second building with adjustable rooms and a cinema. The boarding school is located in a residential zone in a splendid green area.

Hey my name is Talina Helena. I spent 3 weeks in the Lemania summer school and it was so amazing. Sure it was at first a kind of scary to think about it to stay for nearly one month in a summer school, but after a couple of hours after arriving it was such a great and expressive impression to meet so many people from different countries and culture and to find out that we all had something in common and that was the opportunity to spent our summer together just to be ourselves. We did a lot of funny things and a lot of activities and always had something to do that was great! Not only the students were really close to each other also the supervisors and the teachers were really familiar to us and each other so we also had a lot of fun ! The Lemania summer school gave me a lot of good friends all over the whole world and I am still in contact with them, it was a summer i will never forget .Miss you all so much!
